Terms of Service — MK Career Planning Agent APIs
Last updated: 2026-10-12

1. Who we are
These APIs (including https://japan-agent-api-production.mk-career-planning.workers.dev and other
endpoints we list) are operated by MK Career Planning, a sole proprietorship in Japan ("we").
Contact: mk.career.planning@gmail.com

2. Acceptance
By calling any endpoint, MCP tool, or paying for a request, you (and any person or organization on
whose behalf your software or AI agent acts) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use
the APIs.

3. What the service is — and is not
3.1 The APIs relay and restructure information published by public bodies (for example the Japan
Meteorological Agency, the National Tax Agency, e-Stat, J-LIS) and compute factual comparisons
(for example matching an itinerary against bulletins in effect when we checked).
3.2 We do NOT provide weather forecasts, safety assurances, travel advice, investment advice,
tax advice, legal advice, medical advice, or administrative document preparation. A result such as
"no_match_in_checked_sources", "not_listed" or "unknown" means only that our check of the stated
sources did not find a match or could not complete. It does NOT mean that something is safe,
absent, permitted, or recommended.
3.3 Information comes from third-party sources that may be delayed, corrected, incomplete or
unavailable. Every response states its sources, retrieval time and coverage; you are responsible
for checking these before relying on a result, and for consulting the original official source
for any decision that affects safety, money or legal rights.

4. Payments
4.1 Paid requests are charged per call in USDC via the x402 protocol at the price stated in the
payment requirement at the time of the call. Prices may change; the price shown in the payment
requirement you sign applies.
4.2 A payment that settles on-chain is final. We do not refund settled payments, except that a
request settled but not delivered can be retrieved with its receipt_id for the retention period
stated in our Privacy Policy, and retries with the same payment are not charged again.
4.3 You are responsible for your wallet, your keys, the amounts your software authorizes, network
fees, and any taxes that apply to you.

5. Acceptable use
You must not: (a) use the APIs for unlawful purposes or in violation of sanctions laws; (b) attempt
to overload, scrape at abusive volume, or circumvent limits, payment, or security; (c) resell raw
responses as a substitute data feed of the original public sources in a way that misrepresents
their origin; (d) present our output as issued, endorsed or guaranteed by any public body; (e) bulk-copy,
systematically harvest, mirror or redistribute our derived data or the history we have recorded
(for example change logs and list versions) beyond the free history window stated in our responses
and normal per-call use.
Automated access must respect the rate limits stated in our responses and documentation (HTTP 429
with Retry-After, or the MCP error RATE_LIMITED). We may rate-limit, suspend or block access at any
time to protect the service.

6. Availability and changes
The APIs are provided on a best-effort basis. We may change, pause (including per data source) or
discontinue any endpoint at any time without notice. Daily limits apply.

7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APIS AND ALL RESULTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special,
consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of
or reliance on the APIs. Our total liability for any claim relating to the APIs is limited to the
amount you paid us for the request(s) giving rise to the claim during the 30 days before the claim
arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law
(including liability for our willful misconduct or gross negligence).

9. Your responsibility for your agent
You are responsible for how your software or AI agent uses our results, including any action it
takes for end users. You must not present our results to end users as a guarantee of safety or as
professional advice.

10. Data sources and attribution
Responses include attribution required by the source licenses (for example "Source: Japan
Meteorological Agency (processed by MK Career Planning)"). Keep this attribution when you pass
results on. See our Privacy Policy for what we store.

11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Osaka District Court (or the Osaka Summary Court,
as applicable) has exclusive jurisdiction of first instance, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by publishing a new version at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
Using the APIs after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
